We can’t wait to welcome the world to the biggest FIFA World Cup in history! 🌎🏆⚽

@Dev_Fadnavis @narendramodi Maybe just use one motorbike instead of 20?

On Hon PM @narendramodi Ji’s appeal, here’s my bit towards austerity measures for our Nation 🇮🇳
I appeal everyone to please bring lifestyle changes in every possible way.

English

Wow. Awesome. Thanks.
Please also raise my taxes and destroy my children’s education more than you already have so my family and I can stay impoverished, uneducated and in your indentured servitude while we carry your branding on us.

@adamislucky He’s setting us up for the new future. They can still be our biggest trading partner. We just need more trade from elsewhere

@connectgurmeet Enough people talk about it. It’s just quality of life of a certain class of people. Not everyone.

A friend came over last night from US..my family was away
Ordered milk n groceries from Blinkit in 10 min

@KunchamSathwik @ravihanda It doesn’t matter what the context is. To promote it on your LinkedIn opens you up to criticism. It is also callous that he didn’t even ask what it is. Nothing is so important it can’t be done remotely in software.
English

@ravihanda We don't know what event and what was the context and how important the presence of the employee! But we can declare the founder as villain in two minutes, just like a typical Bollywood movie.

@atrupar Wow that’s damning if that’s the case. His people are so stupid they need the Iranians to speak to them with sign language

Trump: "The biggest problem we have in our negotiation is they can't communicate. I said to Steve, what are they saying? 'Sir, they can't communicate. They have no method of communication.' So we're communicating like they used to communicate 2,000 years ago with children bringing a note back and forth."

@rabois @mattyglesias lol even if the war ends. None of this restarts immediately
English

@mattyglesias It is over: Regular air travel resumes tomorrow, normal oil prices and markets. Only thing they have left is sporadic spams of an ad hoc missle launch or drone. Rubio mentioened this yesterday. Islamic Republic Guard is finished.

People don't seem to understand what is happening.
Iran has decided that it will control the straits of hormuz for the indefinite future. That means, we, global energy consumers, will be paying an additional energy tax, since it will take years if not decades for Iran to repair & reconstruct the civilian infrastructure being destroyed.
We are going to pay to rebuild Iran, not Iran. It's strange that people don't understand this.

@LuftkoppTim When your boss buys a jet and you can’t buy a home. For sure you deserve more
English

I'm so fucking sick of this framing.
It's literally NOT "his" jet. It's LTT property. Owned for content.
Stop this bullshit.
And also stop this shit of "underpaid employees" here.
"I think I deserve more" ≠ underpaid

I saw the flight trackers today and the sheer number of military planes heading toward the Mediterranean is honestly mind blowing and scary at the same time. When the US starts moving heavy equipment and armored vehicles in such a massive airlift it usually means they are not just there for a drill but for actual combat operations. The situation with Iran seems to be reaching a breaking point and if this escalates further it will affect the whole world including our economy and fuel prices here in India
English

BREAKING: A massive line of US Air Force C-17 transport aircraft is currently crossing the Atlantic toward the Middle East, alongside KC-135 refueling tankers. A second wave is already over Europe heading for the eastern Mediterranean. C-17s carry troops, armored vehicles and heavy equipment. This is the largest visible airlift movement since the war began.
The Doomsday Plane landed at Andrews tonight for a reason. This may be it.

Our signal to the United States and countries in the Middle East about the Strait of Hormuz was that we were open to discussing it.
As of today, I don't see any country lifting the blockade on its own, only joint steps can bring results. Ukraine has experience with launching the Grain Corridor in the Black Sea despite Russia’s attempts to block the flow of food and other goods. The situation now is similar, but it is about energy.
Our suggestion – based on our experience – was as follows. The war and the negotiations on reopening the Hormuz Strait can go in parallel. It’s worth trying to find a diplomatic solution, and this could be beneficial for both sides in the war.
An alternative step would be to control the Strait unilaterally, as Ukraine did with the Grain Corridor. Achieving this would require interceptors, military convoys to escort the vessels, a large integrated electronic warfare network, and other tools. We stand ready to help with this.
But for now, we are not yet involved. So far, no one has made such a request. We are simply sharing our knowledge. If one day our partners want to make use of it, we would be ready.
