Manatee season is here! As water temperatures drop, manatees migrate to the warm waters at Manatee Lagoon an FPL Eco-Discovery Center located near our energy center at Riveria Beach. Since it began, we’ve tagged more than 10,000 hatchlings, and in recent years, we’ve seen record-breaking nesting seasons. What started as a focus on environmental planning has grown into a long-standing commitment to protecting wildlife and natural habitats.
