Tell me @kickitout the interruption of the match occurred at 12 minutes. Apparently at the time Leeds were pressing the @ManCity defence. Why could they of not brought their Iftar forward by 12 minutes, so not to break the flow of the game? Is the religion that backward

🇩🇪 German referee Patrick Ittrich has proposed a number of potential rule changes in football: 1️⃣ For a tactical foul in midfield, award a free-kick 17 metres from goal. How many of those fouls would we see after that? 2️⃣ If a player rolls around three times and calls for a doctor, bring one on — then make him wait on the touchline for three minutes. How fast do you think he’d get back up? 3️⃣ If a player verbally abuses the referee, send him off for 10 minutes to cool down. Go for a quick cycle to stay warm before returning. There’s something to learn from handball there. 4️⃣ Why is a referee being surrounded by 10 players after a decision? For me, bang, bang, bang — three red cards. Play seven vs ten. That would sort it out. Do you agree with his changes? 🤔

An Iranian explosive drone struck UK sovereign territory at RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus. UK should respond by striking Iran in coordination with US & Israel. Our national interests are not served by remaining sitting ducks to a terrorist regime that previously murdered many UK troops.

@GadSaad @HilzFuld The reason Islam has taken hold in this country is because radical Islamists were seen as those who are upholding Islam while many who didn’t believe that did nothing

There are 2 billion Muslims in the world. If we were to play the "but not all Muslims" game, let's explore the numerical implications. Let us be extraordinarily charitable and presume that only 10% of Muslims are violent in their desire to impose Islam on the rest of us. This means that there are 200 million Muslims that are deeply problematic to our way of life. This leaves 1.8 billion Muslims. How many of those would sit idly while the 200 million are killing and subjugating the world? Let's assume that 50% of the remaining 1.8 billion were to be apathetic (a very charitable assumption). This would mean that 200 million would cause global mayhem while 900 million would watch idly. What about the other 900 million? Would they take up arms to fight on behalf of the non-Muslims? Well, the 1,400-year history of Islam suggests otherwise. Hence, the fact that there are hundreds of millions of Muslims who will not go around killing you is utterly immaterial. Oh and by the way, there are 15 million Jews in the world. Hope these figures help.

The move to formalise Ramadan breaks was not just a top-down decision by the Premier League; it was the result of years of advocacy by players and specialist Muslim organisations.  - Nujum Sports: This London-based non-profit, founded by Ebadur Rahman, is the primary organisation credited with "challenging organisations to create positive change". They developed the Muslim Athlete Charter, which has been signed by over 70 professional clubs to ensure an inclusive environment for Muslim athletes. - Muslim Chaplains in Sport (MCS): Led by Imam Ismail Bhamji, MCS has worked directly with clubs like Manchester City since 2016 to educate coaching staff and provide pastoral care to players. They provided the expert guidance to PGMOL (the referees' body) to help officials understand how to manage breaks without disrupting the game's flow. - Kick It Out: The UK’s leading anti-discrimination charity collaborated with Nujum Sports to run workshops for clubs and fans, helping to normalize the idea of in-game breaks and reduce negative reactions from crowds.  There it is. That’s how Ramadan fasting breaks were forced into English pro football under the noses of every fan. It needs to be stopped. Fans are the ones who can make the difference.

@GadSaad Why should men who dress in weird garments have the authority on what modesty is? Modesty is from the heart. No one can equate modesty with what you do or don’t wear.

Let us suppose that you visit the Vatican and you are dressed immodestly. You will be asked to cover yourself. Same would happen if you were to visit an Islamic country and violate their norms. If the Vatican has the right to decide how you dress within its walls, and if Islamic countries have that right, why do Western countries not have the right to say that Islamic veils are offensive to us? Is the expectation of reciprocity null and void when it comes to Muslims? We abide by their rules but they do not have to abide by ours?

Breaking: The regime in Iran has now admitted that the IRGC mistakenly bombed an Iranian school yesterday, killing many children. Sadly, bad actors have exploited the death and war fog to help the Iranian regime hide this crime and avoid accountability. Among the people who circulated these lies blaming Israel and America for killing the schoolchildren were @Malala and @zarahsultana, who are known for being unreliable sources of information and for spreading lies and misinformation against Israel without mentioning that the sources are all parroting Hamas. Please share the additional information below! H/T @NiohBerg

Israel bombed 97% of all the schools in Gaza, so we can be pretty sure the Iranian school attacks were no accident.

If they can eliminate Ali Khamenei with surgical precision, why did they have to bomb the classrooms? Why murder the kids? I didn’t want to return to this space. But after seeing over 80 schoolgirls killed today, hearing their families scream as they search frantically through rubble, I was pulled straight back to Gaza. There is something uniquely horrific about the killing of children. At what point do we stop pretending this is collateral damage and recognize it clearly as the preferred tactic of the Jewish state? There’s nothing I can say that hasn’t already been said. I’m not a reporter. I’m not a journalist. And none of this came as a surprise. This is a war that Netanyahu himself openly demanded for decades. The escalation didn’t fall from the sky. It was built, speech by speech, policy by policy, threat by threat. Everyone had the opportunity to make noise. To resist and refuse it. And yet here we are. I don’t have analysis to offer. I have grief. And anger. And a refusal to pretend this was inevitable. May Iran prevail against the enemies of humanity, and may Israel collapse into hell where they can finally meet their lord Ba’al and face the consequence of their devotion.

Those who misrepresent these strikes as illegal need to go back to the law books. The ongoing Iran-Israel armed conflict is the context in which Israel launched Operation Roaring Lion in accordance with the international law of armed conflict. The US assistance of a major non-NATO Ally is further buttressed by President Trump's references to pre-emptive strikes against imminent Iranian threats. Misusing the name of international law and spreading misinformation about the applicable legal framework in pursuit of political agendas does a disservice to the international legal order.

The English Premier League plays on Sundays, which is our Christian day of worship, also plays over Easter, which is the most important Christian celebration. I don’t see any special concessions for Christianity, which is the foundational religion of England @premierleague.

🚨BREAKING Pep Guardiola to Leeds United fans: "There are people fasting because of Ramadan. Why do you boo when the game is paused for a minute or two? Show respect for religions! We live in a modern world, don't we? Look at what's happening in the world right now. Watch what happened today. The whole point is to respect all religions. What's the problem?"
