@Chrisricker13 I'm not sure about the Canon R5, but I know that some cameras allow both charging and exposure control through a USB hub. You could check the user manual for the R5, or do a Google search for someone who has feedback on this.

@EmotionLing As of now, only the "External Trigger" method will work when connecting the Genie Mini II to the VIEW, as explained in: #external-trigger" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">docs.view.tl/#external-trig…. The motion control setup must be done with the Genie II app, while the VIEW is set up for exposure ramping.

@EmotionLing Yes, a RAW + JPEG setting in only used for 3rd and 4th generation Sony A7s (RAW + smallest JPEG possible for faster data transfer, and are only used for time-lapse preview and storing clips. Image format must be RAW for Canon cameras.

@EmotionLing If you read the instruction manual at: docs.view.tl, you should note that the VIEW is only able to capture images in RAW format.

@EmotionLing Sorry about the delays in getting the VIEW restocked. We are still waiting on the next batch of VIEWs, which should arrive any day now. Elijah plans on shipping as soon as they arrive. There will also be updates on the Timelapse+ website in the upcoming weeks.

@EmotionLing I looked up the cable types needed for the Canon EOS R5 and the Sony A7R III, and I found that they both use the same cable, which is USB-A (3.0) to USB-C type. So I'll contact Elijah, and make sure he includes a USB-C cable in the package.

@EmotionLing As of now only the "External Trigger" method will work when connecting the Genie Mini II to the VIEW (#external-trigger" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">docs.view.tl/#external-trig…). The Interval Mode must be set to ‘External AUX2’ in the time-lapse setup menu. The Genie Mini II triggers each shot via the AUX2 port.

@EmotionLing Thank you for your interest in the Timelapse+ VIEW intervalometer. The VIEW's firmware was updated to support the Canon R5 back in August, 2020 (github.com/timelapseplus/…), although the manual and website haven't yet been updated for this.
