Tomorrow is my 27th, first day of school and my 1st, first day as Superintendent of U-46. I’ve been a student, teacher, principal, district admin and parent in U-46. I’ve had many first days. Looking forward to number 27! Let’s make it a great day to learn!

Here is Rodin himself, looking not so different from his idol Michelangelo. Having no single original form, Rodin's statues in their countless different versions somehow elevate the universality of his work - The Thinker isn't one statue, but a vision of the human condition.

The Thinker, first created by Auguste Rodin in 1880, is one of the world's most famous sculptures. But there isn't just one Thinker - there are at least 27 different versions of it, some 70cm tall and others 2 metres tall. And they're all originals...

I am so proud that we opened the U-46 Welcome Center...a one stop location for early childhood testing, language testing, registration, and Project Access. This school year, 2,719 students have been tested ...388 are students who are new to the country. In U-46, we welcome all!
