He then goes to the NFL - despite not playing football SINCE HIGH SCHOOL - and he makes the Vikings practice squad even though he was suffering from a serious groin injury suffered in a motorcycle accident. He winds up getting cut because of the injury and starts training MMA, never having even had an amateur fight. Two years later he wins the Heavyweight championship in his fourth fight ever He made an NFL practice squad while suffering from a groin injury after not playing football for 8 years and then goes into MMA and wins a UFC championship two years after he first started learning the sport. Absolutely mental.
