Any news article about pollution from plastic bags or other plastic products that does not point out that the US produces essentially zero per capita plastic pollution is ridiculously misleading. You can't even see the US here because it's basically on the x-axis. In a lot of countries, people literally just throw all their trash in the river. That's the plastic problem.

Imagine showing up to work every day in such a toxic environment, simply for doing a job that protects communities from dangerous individuals. Where is your compassion for these men and women who risk their safety to uphold the law and safeguard society? Finally, reflect on the broader communities affected by these protests, whether in Minnesota or elsewhere. Protests that devolve into hate-filled environments create division and fear for everyone involved—residents, bystanders, and even fellow protesters. When demonstrations lead to egregious acts against others, such as vandalism, harassment, or violence, they erode the fabric of civil society. Compassion should foster understanding and peace, not contribute to an atmosphere where people feel unsafe in their own neighborhoods. Additionally, it’s worth considering how these protests are often orchestrated as distractions from deeper issues plaguing our system, such as massive government corruption.
