If both parties MAXXED OUT on gerrymandering, the House would end up with 262 Republicans to 173 Democrats -- according to leftist FiveThirtyEight. That's because Republicans control more state governments with multiple districts, and Democrat voters congregate in cities. This makes it easy-peazy to pack Dem voters into fewer districts. I don’t really believe this. I think the point of working as a kid is literally to make money and to get an education about broader humanity. It is healthy for children to experience the adult world in this way. Warts and all

@nealjclark1 The purpose of doing jobs like this when you anticipate going into something better is to make you grateful / stop complaining when you are faced with a challenge in your own ‘better’ job. Gap years jobs are also a status symbol.
