The Baltimore Orioles lineup might have the best lineup in baseball. Whatever order Craig Albernaz chooses, he’s got Gunnar Henderson, Blaze Alexander, Jordan Westburg, Heston Kjerstad, Coby Mayo, Jackson Holliday, Weston Wilson, Dylan Beavers and Colton Cowser. A wrecking crew.

FINAL: Yankees 9, Orioles 4

@TalkinBaseball_ And what…..?
Don’t mean they’re going undefeated the rest of the way

@sethsurrett2 @YankeeLibrarian People just assume ERC and Lagrange will be good right away
English

@YankeeLibrarian 100% or just bring up Lagrange because he’s not a starter and forcing him into that.

If the Yankees make trades this summer, it should be for pitching.
Specifically, the bullpen.
That might mean George Lombard Jr. plays short or third — which isn't ideal — but they can get by with him. They can't get by with this pen.
My piece for SI! si.com/mlb/yankees/on…

@JustBB_Media A healthy Yordan Alvarez is the best hitter in baseball.

@GarysheffieldJr @SwagtoImpress Using eye test for hitting but analytics when talking about his fielding
Doesn’t seem consistent
English

@SwagtoImpress Spare the shit about luck.
Good baseball players don’t get unlucky. They find holes. It’s his job. And his defense has been terrible.
The eye test and analytics say exactly that

@NFLDraftBites Probably should’ve went into the year without a CB2 then I guess

#Giants Potential Trade Targets at D-Tackle
Bears Gervon Dexter
Packers Devonte Wyatt
Panthers Bobby Brown III
Saints Davon Godchaux / Vernon Broughton
Cardinals PJ Mustipher
49ers CJ West
Bills DeWayne Carter
Jets Harrison Phillips / Mazi Smith
Browns Mike Hall Jr
Chiefs Omar Norman-Lott
Candidate when Released
Ravens Broderick Washington
Bengals TD Slaton / Howard Cross III
Probably should’ve signed Dalvin Tomlinson for 1-$6.2M instead of throwing money at Greg Newsome?

Just thinking out loud here but I tend to think about the Yankees roster during the offseason and during the whole regular season in terms of how they’d fare in a hypothetical 7 game series vs the Dodgers for all the marbles. Probably foolish to be thinking ahead that far but it’s because they’re obviously at the top of the food chain and if you want to be the best you have to beat the best. They’ve set the standard and the rest of MLB is trying to not only catch up but take them out.
I think about how the Jays pushed them to their absolute limit last season and very nearly bettered them in 7 games, and how grueling it was for their entire roster top to bottom to contribute and find ways to not only keep scoring runs but get 27 very difficult outs; and I’m not sure right now if the Yankees bullpen has what it takes to run the gauntlet and do the same thing (I know it’s only April 😂), but the offense and the starting pitching should absolutely be top tier for the bulk of the year and the bullpen situation should evolve as Cole and Rodon get back to full health.
Long way to go but a lot to like right now. The trade deadline in a couple months will be very important.

@TalkinYanks REAL people want him as a reliever 😂
He has negative command and cannot strike out a soul
English

@TalkinYanks Do people genuinely think Gil would be good in the pen???? His velo sufks and he strikes nobody out
English

@GarysheffieldJr Because he was a great leadoff hitter all of last year and he’s been walking a ton this year. It’s actually quite simple !
English

@michaelschwab13 Astros are so easy to beat because they have all righty starters and hitters
English

@michaelschwab13 Genuinely the worst staff in the league plus they can’t afford Yordan 🤣✌️✌️✌️
