After this Sale, Which Direction should Pizza Hut take ? - A Mass delivery first brand directly competing with Dominoz? - Mass Premium brand focussed on dine in & delivery both? - Premium brand focusing on Artisanal Pizzas, Coffee, Desserts etc?
Tanvi Raut Dessai@trdessai

Fun fact: Pizza Hut was the world’s largest pizza chain for almost 50 years. It was the original family pizza outing brand. Now Yum! Brands is selling it for roughly $2.7 billion after years of pressure from Domino’s, food delivery apps and changing consumer habits. Full story on @FilterCoffeeHQ filtercoffee.co/news/the-end-o…

I've been talking regularly to @amishthaker_ and he was using Wispr Flow so I decided today to start Wispr Flow After that I ended up putting it in my dad's phone. Later I came to know it is paid I wonder if my dad will be willing to pay for this as it saves a lot of time for him

@rameshsrivats The quality of work by these humans is so bad that they need to be reverse trained by LLM model here 😁

"Wipro is launching a Claude AI center in Bengaluru & plans to train 10,000 employees on Anthropic’s models." I thought models were trained on humans. Had no idea humans needed to be trained on models.

@HarveenChadha It means they are clueless 🤣 They want Anthropic partnership to survive and they are doing that. OpenAI may have rejected their request.

@sallar @brentlok_ With uniwind you won’t get surprised like you do when using nativewind. That’s the point. Pro is cherry on top.

Isn’t the native unistyles-backed compiler only available in the pro version? There is literally a comparison page on uniwind website showing the performance different between free & pro. IMO the entire point of uniwind is the unistyles compiler otherwise there are other tailwind libraries for react native.

This demo app doesn't use a single React Native component. Built entirely with @expo/ui and styled with Uniwind. ✨ Native controls. Powered by Uniwind. Coming soon.

You guys are young and to be honest playing the wrong game. Young entrepreneurs have high execution speeds perfect for running VC backed startups. The ideas is your head match the people’s demands, till the time you’ll be feeling comfortable with a bootstrapped business, you’ll probably loose this advantage and will have no other option than to grow at your pace. It’s time for you to Run not walk.

Aditya and I are very money conscious. We both know that if we end up at zero, we're done forever. We both come from middle class families. My family is very supportive because I'm the second child, and my elder sister is successful, so they understand the pressure and how these things work. In Aditya's case, it's different. He's the eldest child, so he has the responsibility of making it big or at least earning enough to have a solid package and a strong monthly income. To be honest, I'm quite privileged in that regard. However, for middleclass children, business is a very risky pursuit because it often requires continuously reinvesting the money you earn instead of taking it home as income. That can be difficult when your family expects stability in the early years of your business.

Building sovereign AI systems is must, but we are missing another layer. Can we give every Indian having mobile internet access to build a simple website using open source models today for free or minimal cost ? Models like Kimi, Qwen are capable enough. But can as a country we empower every Indian to build ? We need to jump few steps ahead somehow.

Yes a foundational model costs 50/60 B $, huge hyper cloud capacity. US is investing in excess of 2 Tr$ over 3 years.
Adivandhya B R@adivandhya

Last I checked, @NandanNilekani sir had expressed reservations about India building homegrown LLMs in the near future, suggesting instead that we leverage existing models and focus on the application layer. While I agree on the need for investment and the urgency of this moment, I hope the next generation is given the space to lead and define India’s path forward in AI. x.com/NandanNilekani…

@VasantMarimuthu Its too busy, and the AI images scream AI. Use better models to generate them. Also use claude design and give it a reference Pinterest design, iterate till you like it. Then ask claude to modify your shopify theme.

@Ajain112 For any new tech adoption to happen, accounts like yours are never the target. It always always starts with smallest of the players, give them a tech edge, iterate and then get a very big fish. One big fish will bring the ones in middle to the table.

Problem with building a shopify clone for the indian d2c ecosystem is that shoipify itself is too good and people are happy with it. Like you cannot even give free usage for three years to people like us and tell us to switch. It is not a money issue. It is a peace of mind issue
Kush Agarwal@kushgrwl

Lot of people want to build Shopify clone for India D2C ecosystem, many have shut shop in the past, many are starting afresh. However none of them find success. Any one has 2 cents on why?
