The fix is very boring: make the server write content that already matches the editor schema. If no client needs to "fix" anything, there's nothing to race about.

Fable just one-shotted & reproduced a bug we'd been chasing for weeks in ~15 minutes 🧵 The bug: Non-deterministic content duplication in a collaborative editor. Involves CRDTs merge algorithms you need a PHD for to understand the internals.
