Bill Ackman’s closed-end fund dropped 18% on the day of its IPO. I will never trust him with my money. One of the reasons is how he handled $NFLX. He bought it in January 2022 after the stock had already dropped. Then he sold in April 2022 — almost perfectly timing the bottom. Closing a losing position can make sense. But if you buy after a drop, you’re saying the business is strong. If the price falls further and nothing changes, the logical move is to buy more — not panic sell. Warren Buffett doesn’t panic sell. Great investors don’t react to price. They exploit volatility.

Larry Ellison just exposed a fundamental truth about AI: Models like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok are all trained on the same public internet data. When the input is the same, the output converges. The moat isn’t the model. It’s the data. Companies training on proprietary datasets have an advantage competitors cannot replicate. That’s why the “software apocalypse” narrative is wrong. And why $HIMS, $DUOL, $LMND, $META — companies that own unique, real-world data — will keep pulling ahead. Not because their models are better. But because their data is.

$SOFI dropped after exceptional Q1 earnings. Not because the business is weak — but because it didn’t raise 2026 guidance. The market expected more. But this is intentional. As Anthony Noto explains, guidance at $SOFI isn’t about hype — it’s about trust. If customers don’t trust you, they won’t give you their money. That’s why $SOFI doesn’t push aggressive forecasts it might miss. Missing guidance would damage the brand, reputation, and long-term credibility. So they stay conservative. The market wanted hype. $SOFI chose credibility.

Exponential capex growth from hyperscalers to fund AI infrastructure is far from over. $META CFO: “We have underestimated our compute needs.” $GOOGL: “2027 capex will significantly increase vs 2026.” $MSFT: “Demand continues to exceed supply.” Jensen Huang $NVDA: AI infrastructure will grow exponentially for the next 7–8 years. The message is clear: AI demand > supply And it’s not even close. Betting against the infrastructure layer — chips $NVDA $AMD $AVGO cloud $AMZN $GOOGL $MSFT neo-cloud $NBIS $CRWV $IREN $CIFR is a losing trade.

$META down 9% today is a gift. You’re getting one of the biggest AI winners at a discount. As Jensen Huang said: “Nobody uses AI better than $META.” $META grew revenue 33% YoY in Q1 2026 — the biggest quarterly jump in five years. Fastest-growing big tech. The cheapest at ~21x forward P/E. Don’t sleep on Zuck.

$AMZN is one of the most obvious opportunities in the market. AWS grew 28% YoY in Q1 2026 — the fastest since 2022. Capex is starting to pay off. Yes, $GOOGL Cloud and $MSFT Azure may grow faster in %, but AWS is much larger — and still growing faster in absolute dollars. Amazon added more server capacity than anyone in 2025. And they’re accelerating even further in 2026. Unlike $MSFT and $GOOGL, cloud has a much bigger impact on $AMZN margin profile. AWS is one of Amazon’s highest-margin businesses. If AWS keeps accelerating, $AMZN operating margin expands far more than its competitors’. And as if that weren’t enough, $AMZN owns ~15% of Anthropic and ~6% of OpenAI. $AMZN is that obvious.
