I see a subsection of fandom has moved on from outrage at no Thasmin kiss to saying it's good there was no kiss to "No, seriously, they did kiss, you just didn't look closely enough" and honestly... what? No.

@scribblesscript I mean in terms of the well the characters the kiss wouldnt have made sense. The doctor has already stated she didnt want to make the relationship go further due to how many people she has lost before in LOTSD. Which makes a lot of sense to me

@scribblesscript It's almost bitterly hilarious that pretty much everyone in the fanbase thought that the end of LoTD was the relationship finally starting, when it turns out that bare minimum two episode arc was all Chris thought was necessary

@scribblesscript For me, personally, I'm somewhat glad it didn't happen. I've never been a fan of the Doctor having romantic relations with companions. However, the fact that Chibnall baited it and then done nothing with it is a failure of writing and following through with promises.
