Writing #GoodCode with #CodeClarity Last year I was assigned a task to enchance some code that I had written 28 years ago. We have active code that is older. Geez. So, writing good code helps you understand your own code, when you havent seen it a while. @typescript @dotnet

Writing #GoodCode. Talking about @CodeClarity. I worked with guy who created a for-loop that he was very proud of. The code was unreadable. He had put all of the logic in for header and no logic inside the for loop. @typescript @dotnet

So why do we need to write #GoodCode that has #CodeClarity? The main reason, so you dont have spend a lot of time decyphering the code. It makes it easier to fix bugs or add features. @typescript @dotnet

A couple of weeks ago, I worked on some code that I had to rewrite to make it understandable. The variable and methods names were all very similar. So writing #GoodCode requires that the code is easily understandable. @typescript @dotnet #CodeClarity

What does it mean to write #GoodCode ? People have said things along the lines of Does what it is supposed to do Doesn’t have any bugs Unit tests that pass All of these are good, but they are just the basics. There is more to it for good code. @typescript @dotnet
