#PCGrade3 engineers joined us in the #PCiLab to design and craft a sailboat with limited, pre-selected materials from our “wall of stuff.” ⛵️ #PCProblemSolving
It’s hard for #PCGrade5 Ss to contain their excitement when the windmill they designed and built produced 6 volts of electricity! By day 3 of the project with a few iterations their output doubled! #PCiLab#PCProblemSolving
#PCExtendedDay switches up their activity daily! Sometimes all you need are beads and pipe cleaners.
What would you make if you only had these two materials?

📏What can your string go around? In #PCMath#PCGrade2 Ss found items in their desk or at home that their string could go around. Then, they measured how long their piece of string was. They used #PCProblemSolving to find the P-E-R-I-M-E-T-E-R!
#PCGrade2 Ss LOVED the Candy Corn Tower Challenge. They showed #PCInnovation and #PCProblemSolving as they planned out how to make the tallest tower using candy corn and toothpicks. Then, they reflected on what was challenging and what they would do differently next time.
#PCGrade1 Ss celebrated Valentine’s Day by playing “What Time is it Valentine?”, creating their own time word problems, and matching money values to the correct group of coins. #PCMath#PCProblemSolving
