Our #ProgramoftheWeek is Construction Tech, which includes both classroom instruction as well as hands-on training at a building site. Graduates can enter the workforce as project coordinators with contractors and engineers, building departments, developers and more. #ptc #aps

Last up on our #ProgramofTheWeek series is our Career Connections program. This program works with students to prepare them for college or the world of work through vocational development, college tours, SAT prep, in-school or community-based internships, guest speakers and more.

This week’s #ProgramofTheWeek is our Food for Thought program! This program provides two nutritious meals to all students, regardless of student need, for breakfast and lunch. This intervention is critical, as 80% of our students qualify for free or reduced-priced meals.

Next up in our #ProgramofTheWeek series is our Foundation Links program. Links provides families access to crisis intervention services which provide food and clothing, family therapeutic care, and short-term transportation services to encourage regular school attendance.

This week’s #ProgramofTheWeek is The Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports program. PBIS promotes the teaching, recognizing, and reinforcing of positive student behaviors. Staff acknowledge students’ efforts with verbal praise, classroom prizes, school store rewards, etc.

This week’s #ProgramofTheWeek is our Therapeutic Services. We offer all students individual and group counseling surrounding a variety of topics such as grief and loss, drug and alcohol prevention, violence prevention, anger management, etc. using unique methods for each student.
