Anyone now why Android devices (at least in the emulator) do not match `@media (pointer: coarse)`? I don't have an Android device right now, so if that's just the emulator, I'd also take documentation to that fact. #css #responsiveDesign #developingDesignSystems

@ChrisDHolt What _isn't_ a "dropdown", that is currently called one? Honest question. I'd always developed it as an abstraction for an element that opened a selection interface...but at what point does that interface _really_ stop being a "dropdown"? #developingDesignSystems

#developingdesignsystems @WestbrookJ The design systems (design) team also does not necessarily communicate over the accessibility requirements. For our team, this has always been a collaborative effort with our engineers. I would consider it a part of our design process.

Questions about a11y for #developingDesignSystems:<li> should be a direct child of <ul>. What do you do when a web component holds the <li> content? <ul><my-el><li> Does that break accessibility?

Questions about a11y for #developingDesignSystems: When creating web components with a button and dropdown, where should we put "aria-expanded" and "aria-controls"? the custom element itself? the button in shadow DOM?
