INEOS kept on a manager they had no faith in, openly canvassing Europe for his successor but then armed him with £200m to spend on players he wanted, and changed the backroom staff before sacking him anyway. They axed a sporting director, whose way of working was well established, because he did not fit in with how they wanted him to work. @Tylershilton92 @MelissaReddy_ Same as we said in chat, that first 200m is with ETH But then absolute waffle about not backing Amorim, verbally backed a million times AND spent another 200m this summer, to watch us get worse Not a single game under Amorim have we look confident or even like there’s progress
