It’s never left. Unless you live in Hawaii, Vermont, or Wyoming, every other state in the country has it in their curriculum. The Supreme Court rules in 1943 that you can’t compel students to say the words which is a little surprising as “under god” wasn’t added u til 1954. With the President taking us into another quagmire of a war with Iran and destabilizing countries around us, with gas prices spiking and many of our rights being restricted, don’t you have something better to ask about?
