If price is above Midnight Open early in the session & sweeps a time based liquidity level higher (London high, PDH, 4H high, etc), I immediately start thinking trend day if price doesn't come right back into the range with displacement lower. No SMT? Great, even better. $NQ $ES

I think of it this way. If price has no interest in filling the RTH gap or tapping MO & no interest in a retrace to the open prices (whether 7:30 or 8:30 is used), price is tipping its hand at unusual strength. $NQ $ES
