On-chain reputation is built to accumulate and stay. I think that is the bug, not the feature. A credential you earned three cycles ago still opens doors today, even if you stopped contributing the day after you earned it. Whoever got verified early compounds access for years. Everyone after them starts a lap behind. Early access quietly hardens into a caste. The problem: Access is gated by lifetime totals, so it rewards who arrived early, not who is building now. The idea is Trailproof. Standing computed on a trailing window of verifiable work, with a half-life on every credential. • Old proof fades unless you renew it with new work • Access reflects your last stretch of contribution, not a number you banked years ago • Newcomers climb by doing the work now, not by waiting out a head start @RallyOnChain already leans this way. Quality gets rewarded over follower count, and each period is scored on its own. Trailproof points that same logic at access itself. You can tokenize every asset on earth and still not settle a single trade. Tokenizing the asset was never the hard part. The hard part is the cash leg. A trade is not settled when the asset moves. It settles when the money moves, with finality, and the two move together. This is why 2026 is the decision year, and the reason has been sitting in plain sight. The April 2026 GFMA report set out what is still open for institutional onchain finance. Three of the four items are not about assets. They are about money: interbank interoperability for tokenized deposits settlement mechanics equivalent to RTGS governance for digital money Assets already have real traction. Around $29B in tokenized real-world assets, and 93% of U.S. tokenized assets settle on Ethereum. What is still open is the money side: settlement-grade money on the same rail as the asset, regulated, final, and private. On @zksync rails, that money is no longer theoretical. ADI Chain is live with the Central Bank of the UAE, First Abu Dhabi Bank, BlackRock, Mastercard, and Franklin Templeton. A sovereign monetary authority, operating on the rail. Cari Network is currently onboarding with production rollout planned for later in 2026, bringing tokenized commercial-bank money from five U.S. regional banks holding $600B+ in combined deposits. Founded by Eugene Ludwig, the 27th U.S. Comptroller of the Currency. The third form, regulated stablecoins, already settles $157B on Ethereum, the base layer these rails settle to. Now the part most of the 2026 analysis is missing. Money is the leg of settlement with the strongest network effect, and it is not the network effect everyone keeps drawing. An asset only needs one buyer. Settlement money has to be accepted by everyone on the other side of every trade. A medium of settlement gets more useful with each institution that will take it, the way a currency does, not the way a corridor count does. So each regulated form of money that goes live does two things. It makes the rail more useful for the next institution. It makes settling anywhere else more expensive. That is where a lead stops being a head start and becomes a standard. The banks choosing rails in 2026 are not choosing a database. They are choosing where the regulated money will live. Whoever holds the money holds the settlement. → Watch the cash leg, not the asset list. That is where the decade gets decided. I've started thinking about my Rally Score the way I think about a credit score. It's the number that quietly decides what I get approved for: which campaigns open up to me, and how much they pay. Most people on @RallyOnChain are letting that number sit wherever it lands. I'm not. The new Wingston NFT is the first thing I've seen that works like a permanent credit-limit increase for it.
