The 2021 MICHIGAN Football season provided many great memories! My BEST memory was watching the Wisconsin game at 6am in our Maui hotel room, getting the W, and then chauffeuring our daughter to her beachside wedding in time for the 11am ceremony ❤️

I have never been a fan of the cops releasing these types of photos. I feel the same way about mug shots. There are people everyday that get arrested and booked for things they didn’t do. Once a person is proven guilty then by all means. Post away. Until then it is in my mind a form of humiliation that’s unnecessary. Just don’t like it.

@DAnalogArsonist @Joeinblack Yes it is. I grew up in Michigan, went to UM and have visited over 400 college campuses. Live in the South now. UM is very diverse. Come visit BAMA, UGA, LSU, etc. and you’ll see first hand.

@14ersRock @Joeinblack U of M is not very ideologically diverse and is very left wing. That being said, this is typical of pretty much every university, including MSU.

I graduated from UM and I have some thoughts. To be clear, I am a Spartan, through & through, but I am a convert. I began life as a wolverine. If you attend UM or spend a lot of time there, you’ll notice that there is a way of thinking that is acceptable and a lot of ways of thinking that are not. For better or worse, UM embodies that extremely narrow, left-wing world that allows very little ideological dissent. There is tremendous contempt for any way of thinking that doesn’t fit in their narrow scope and two days in a classroom would reveal that. When I see much of the fan base that adores them, I get irritated as I recognize how much the university they worship would absolutely despise the way their fans that are not graduates, think, live, etc. I’m glad you and your son cheer for them, you seem like a decent fellow. I mean that. But a ton of their fam base is staffed by people who embrace an arrogance for accomplishments they’ve never earned, and do it for a university that would absolutely despise them. It’s weird.

@Cali2EL2NC @Joeinblack That’s not the point. It’s always skewed liberal. Look at Ann Arbor. The point is there’s a very diverse student body, which hasn’t changed in decades. Do you believe they all think alike and subscribe to a “narrow, single ideology”? MSU demographics are more narrow.

I say it every damn year. Once again, Sparty is the perennial champion of the offseason. And it’s not even close.

@SoveyX This is not a beach and fish don’t live in the sand. Find a real beach, then go in the mornings or evenings and enjoy a nice walk.

Here’s another reason I don’t go to the beach. (the first reason is because I don’t want to age or get dark). There are demons living under the sand waiting to ruin your entire day.
