@XPHOENIXDRAGON Bullshit. The layout wasn't meant to slow typing down. It was intended to use the keys that were used most often in sequence far away from each other, because the problem of jamming levers was most prevalent with levers that were right next to each other being activated at once.

@ThatEricAlper Any kind of service personnel would have to be exceptionally rude to me to make me yell at them. Even the grossest of incompetence would make, at most, get impatient and request someone else. Losing your cool doesn't help anybody, least of all yourself.

@JTAlexander_ The Republic and the Jedi are the embodiment of liberal democracy that was almost the perfect society at first, but succumbed to corruption, complacency and hubris. The empire is the necessary return to order that overcorrected and went way overboard. Sounds familiar...

I grew up with the Original Trilogy, so consciously I know that the Empire are the bad guys. I've noticed since the Prequels (made far worse by the Sequels & Disney EU) that the Republic, Jedi, and Rebellion are so Left-coded that I instinctually end up rooting for the Empire.

@ItIsWolf123 @ComicGirlAshley Listen, I obviously love this series to death, but it's not the answer to this question. Sure, stuff changes a lot with your choices, but it's just details - which characters live or die, which faction takes your side etc. The overall story stays the same.

Is there actually a choice based game where your choices ACTUALLY REALLY matter? Like, the story is actually significantly different. No Telltale or LIS game has achieved this. LiS2 probably sold the illusion the best. Until Dawn and Heavy Rain maybe?

You can press a button. If you do, an uninhabited star system outside the observable universe will be annihilated, but you get a dollar. Do you press it?

There is no "right to access a game". There is the desire to purchase a game or not. If you find a game doesn't have what you consider makes it "accessible" - then you simply don't buy it. This is a lot like saying a grocery store shouldn't sell hot sauce because you can't eat it. Hot sauce and video games are not necessary to life. They're things other people make because they want people to buy them. Don't like something? Find it inaccessible? Don't buy it. Life's not fair.
Steven Spohn (Spawn)@stevenspohn

My right to access a game supersedes your right to immersion. Accessibility options can be turned off, leaving your immersion intact. My disability cannot be switched off. Your desire to brag about beating a difficult game should not be fulfilled at the cost of people like me.

@Creed_Thoughts2 His Kim Kardashian comeback joke is the best joke in Parks and Rec history and it didn’t even make the show. Network connectivity is the best that did make it.

AI is trained too much on Reddit and this is a massive problem. not enough people are talking about this. Gemini thinks it's normal for a person to eat 20-50 chicken nuggets. this is disgusting

@A1an_M Absolutely. Posts with locked replies should no longer be shown to anyone other than the poster's followers. If you can't deal with the commentary, you can't expect the reach. Want to be broadcast? Live with the fact that people can voice their opinions.

If I can't reply to a post, I don't think it should appear on my timeline. Regardless of how important, or correct, or interesting the author thinks they are. If I want a read-only experience, I'll buy a paper newspaper. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

@s8mb It really depends on a few factors, the major ones being your job, how much you like doing it and your personality type. Some people are more productive at home, some do barely anything. As a supervisor myself, that makes it really hard to decide to which degree to allow it.

I’m not a “work from home” guy by any means. But I’ve done it a bit lately and it’s certainly nice to see my family during the day. I can see why it’s so popular. But, and it’s a big but, my productivity is unquestionably lower. There’s just no substitute for the office.
