In the PWHL, it's the small plays that make a tremendous difference. Here's a look at the incoming 2026 PWHL Draft class comparing blocked shots, pre-shot passes, controlled entries, and drawn penalties among NCAA prospects. thehockeynews.com/womens/pwhl/ad… #PWHL #PWHLDraft

On this day in 1981, the U.S. Army unveils the EM-50 Urban Assault Vehicle. Modelled on the 1976 GMC 26 Palm Beach line of motorhomes, it's fully equipped with machine guns, flame throwers and rocket launchers, along with a state of the art communications and navigation suite.

@StephenScaffid1 Policy likes Lafleur because he's a teacher. Your coordinators and position coaches are the teachers. Your head coach has to be the leader. He hasn't talked to Rich since he quit? His assistant head coach? They never had a conversation about it? He's not a leader, big problem

A detailed explanation from Ed Policy on why he gave Matt LaFleur a “multi-year” contract that represented a “very significant commitment,” not a “prove-it” contract. “Frankly, the fact I was being asked is firing him even an option, I was a little bit shocked by that.”

@jasonjwilde @WISCTV_News3 The players shouldn't complain about roles, they should just do what they are told. Play the best players and get on with it. Softy Lafleur isn't helping the situation either. It's obvious he hates confronting things. Hasn't talked to right hand man Rich either since he quit.

On @WISCTV_News3 ~ If the first step to solving a problem is recognizing there is one, #Packers head coach Matt LaFleur did just that on Monday, acknowledging that "some players were upset about roles last year" and it "took a toll on our football team." channel3000.com/news/top-stori…

Matt LaFleur wasn't naming names, but it shouldn't be a surprise he believes players upset with roles "took a toll" on #Packers' 2025 season, nor that he believes it impacted his grade from players in NFLPA's annual report card. packersnews.com/story/sports/n…

@1TimothyA True in most part. Problem is harvest open, and nearby folks that can't legally fish for them where at (those who don't care about the fishery) - will come. A local bait dealer and others have told me people asking for "muskie suckers" in May

A ramble about fishing management battles here in WI. And just plain spent on hearing about climate change used as an excuse for management nitwitery
