I'm building a Pokemon TCG market intelligence engine. Not another dashboard full of noise. Not a feed of random alerts. Not more tabs to check. I want a real operating system that helps me make better decisions faster: what's getting hot what's being overlooked what to buy what to sell what to watch what to talk about The goal is simple: less guessing more conviction better execution That's the edge I'm building for. #pokemon #openclaw #hermes

Pokémon Center USA really needs to evaluate their Q system. This is the worst experience I’ve had with a pre-order release. My timer had 6 minutes remaining and all of a sudden I blinked and it was back to 2 hours and 15 minutes. Oh did I forget to tell you that I got kicked out of the line once too. Anyone else have some major issues with this release? @PokemonCenterUS DO BETTER

Looks like Pokémon Center is performing maintenance to fix the issues on the site from the Pitch Black preorders. We’ll post if items are available again or any other updates! 🔔 #Pokemon #PokemonTCG

Who's the actual scammer here? Here's the origin of the Jason Paige scandal. This vendor, Bryan from a Band called Fame on Fire, who's IG is "boostersandbangers" overpriced the Gengar card because he thought it was PSA 1 worthy. That's where the $150 price came from. The Gengar was realistically worth like $30-$50. He mentions how the kid is trying to "cook him" when Bryan here was actually the chef cooking them, and the whole reason this started and has blown up like it has. I'm not defending Jason Paige, or his actions at shows, but to me this guy here scammed the kids. Avoid all vendors who price cards based on hypothetical grades.
Big Sauce@biigsauuce

Boostersandbangers has spoken! Turns out it IS the same card and this guy is valuing it as a potential PSA 1 lol.

Someone hid a self-replicating worm inside 37 npm packages. Written in Rust. Hidden behind an eBPF kernel rootkit. Talking to its operator over Tor. It steals 86 environment variables. AWS keys. GCP keys. Vault secrets. Kubernetes tokens. Your Anthropic API key. Your OpenAI key. Your Exodus wallet seed phrase. Then it uses your own npm credentials to republish itself into your packages. So your code infects the next developer. Who infects the next one. The commits were backdated up to 13 years. The commit author name was “claude.” The malware named itself after the AI to hide in plain sight. The attacker also left their own wallet recovery phrase in the debug data. Nobody is having a good day. Check your preinstall hooks.
Aikido Security@AikidoSecurity

⚠️ New "IronWorm" supply-chain attack: 30+ npm packages from @ asteroiddao shipped a malicious Rust binary firing on preinstall. It sweeps 86 env vars + 20 credential files (AWS, GCP, Vault, npm, plus AI keys like Anthropic & OpenAI), hits Exodus wallets, hides behind an eBPF rootkit, and beacons over Tor. Self-propagates via npm Trusted Publishing OIDC, with backdated commits faked as claude/dependabot/renovate.

@1erik_eth I'd also choose Prismatic! With the rate of hits, how similar the SIRs look, idk it just doesn't appeal to me as much as the others. Ofcourse it has the god packs, but few and far between for anyone, so to me it still doesn't make it have an edge on the others!

If you ask an OG Pokémon collector if they prefer decorative basket crowns 👑 on Pokemon heads what do you think they will say? 😉. All seriousness, I have the Umbreon Alt Art from Terestrial Festival and love that artwork but the others I can do without. Which set would you delete and why?

@1erik_eth @HermesAgentTips Yes I prefer slack and discord to better manage my context and token burn through different channels. Feels more natural to me. Telegrams UI is slicker but I failed to create a multi channel setup so mostly just use it as a backup channel.

Fair question Mathew, in my opinion, Discord/Slack are better for team channels. Telegram is a slightly better fit for my setup and as a personal Al command center: fast mobile commands, reliable bot alerts, daily briefings, media delivery, and low friction. I trade some channel organization for speed and simplicity. By the way, I have the infrastructure on discord completely set up with multiple channels for specific tasks and crons but I keep coming back to Telegram. Another point that you can consider. If you are running into context issues, which eats up tokens, having discord or slack agent set up will help. A narrow context window could save you token burn.

@1erik_eth @HermesAgentTips Interesting. Why do you use telegram vs discord or slack? I find it difficult to use multiple channels in telegram compared to discord and slack.

So-called age verification for social media is spreading across the world, framed as an effort to create a safer internet for children. In reality, age verification lays the foundation for a fully controlled internet. The age verification rush must be slowed down, and politicians need to recognize the consequences of different types of legislation and systems. Age verification is the wrong approach to fix “the social media problem” The big tech social media companies are bad. Their business model is bad; it is based on mass surveillance and manipulation, and they cooperate with governments in mapping entire populations. But age verification is fundamentally the wrong approach to preventing children from using big tech social media platforms. Introducing age verification is based on coercion; the state forces social media companies to verify their users’ identities. But the big tech social media platforms already know which of their users are children. Their business model depends on knowing this. They know how old users are, and they know exactly what type of person they are. As age verification is based on coercion, politicians could instead force platforms to stop doing the things politicians consider harmful to children, or force them to block children (again, they know who they are) from using their services. But instead, politicians seek to massively invade everyone’s privacy and undermine democratic rights on a global scale. In other words, the latter is the real objective – they do not want to protect children; they want to impose control. Slippery slope of age verification It is undeniable that age verification threatens freedom of expression, risks increasing mass surveillance, and is likely to lead to censorship. It will not only shrink the online world and reduce young people’s right to privacy (for example, if VPN services were to be restricted); but also risks becoming a significant step toward a controlled internet for everyone. Most age verification is identity verification Most countries are now considering introducing age verification systems, meaning that everyone would have to identify themselves either to the service/website they want to use or to a third party capable of linking them to their activity on that service or website. This is not age verification but identity verification, and the consequence is therefore that freedom of information is restricted (you can no longer visit regulated websites anonymously) and that you can no longer post anonymously on social media. This is a major problem in countries like the UK and Germany where the police conduct raids on people’s homes for posting content on social media that the authorities dislike. Or in the United States, where authorities are trying to pressure tech companies into revealing the identities behind accounts protesting ICE. Social media identity verification removes important tools for activists in countries where criticizing those in power is dangerous. Restrictions on app store or operating system level Some countries are looking to impose identity verification at the app store level or even within the operating system itself. This is an exciting experiment, since this is possible to circumvent using open-source operating systems. Some countries are already looking to include open-source systems. Since open-source systems cannot be controlled, politicians would ultimately need to ban devices that are not controlled by the state. The end point: telescreens like those in Orwell’s 1984, devices that both monitor you and broadcast only the information approved by the state. The Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) alternative and the EU The EU has presented its own age verification app as “completely anonymous”. The idea is to use Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) cryptography to break the link between the age credential issuer (EU governments) and the regulated services/sites. Currently, the EU app does not have ZKP functionality, contrasting Ursula von der Leyen’s claim that the app ”is technically ready to be used”. But more importantly, the app is currently designed to always function without ZKP technology; if ZKP is unavailable, the app falls back to a non-ZKP model. Even if fully developed ZKP technology could be implemented in the future, it would remain an optional extra feature that countries may choose to disable and that the EU could remove at any time.
