Três pessoas segurando a mulher. Algumas assistindo e ao menos duas pessoas filmando. Como NINGUÉM viu que ela estava sem corda?! Estou incrédula até agora com essa tragédia.

@CoffindafferFBI Still confused on how the person doing the bungee jump didn’t think at any point that she should actually be tied to something before people lifted her up in the air to throw her off a bridge?

Update Brazilian Bungee Case "Three men were arrested 'in flagrante,' or caught in the act, on charges of homicide with eventual intent. Under Brazilian law, this charge applies to cases in which perpetrators did not intend to kill but engaged in a dangerous act that carried a fatal risk." Horrible incompetence resulting in death. #Bungee #Brazil

Did anyone else know that Ontario only allows Pap tests every 5 years now. That’s insane! My daughter just went for one and has to pay for it. This used to be covered annually. Fuck you @fordnation and @SylviaJonesMPP

@rebeltransam @IndianOverload @CSC_SCC_en You’re so full of shit. Because if you had any experience, you would understand that the government in power has nothing to do with releases or release decisions. So go lay down, you’re clearly a fucking idiot and not worth a conversation.

@2021Northern @IndianOverload @CSC_SCC_en A female prison guard/system you are in? 😂🤣😂🤣. My family member who was a guard was attacked in a female prison after other females poured hairspray on an inmate and lit her up. The other female guards all ran away and left my relative on his own. You’re a disgrace!

@skull_pin @guyfelicella Some people need help! You can’t tell me that someone who was severely physically, mentally, and sexually abused their entire childhood, and raised by a transient, drug addicted person, is just supposed to grow up well functioning and take care of their own problems.

The gateway to addiction isn't drugs, it's unaddressed trauma. People often aren't trying to get high, they're trying to escape pain. If we want to address addiction, we need to start healing trauma. dw.com/en/how-drugs-h…

@JPutanero @Valkyrie_D Well before the question of whether there were unidentified remains buried, the abuses that occurred at residential schools were known and recorded. Whether there are unidentified remains buried or not, doesn’t change the abuses and horrors that did occur.

@Valkyrie_D Deny what? If you say there are bodies: go dig them up, tell us who they were, when they died and what they died from. People lie all the time for lots of different reasons. There is no reason for us to take them at their word given the amount of money they are claiming.

Residential school denialism isn’t a debate. It’s a choice to call survivors liars — to twist the facts and downplay the abuse, deaths, and graves. This isn’t contested history. It’s recorded history. Fact. Denial isn’t skepticism. It’s cruelty. 🇨🇦 #EveryChildMatters

@rebeltransam @IndianOverload @CSC_SCC_en Have you ever worked in the correctional system? I have. I saw the changes happening firsthand and now the mess they are in. It’s a longer conversation, but if you’re truly interested, I could send you a longer message explaining the specifics.

@rebeltransam @IndianOverload @CSC_SCC_en Karla Homolka reached warrant expiry (end of her sentence). She HAD to be released, she served all her time. Don’t like it, talk to the courts who sentenced her, not the govt who happened to be in power when she finished her sentence, loser!

@IndianOverload @rebeltransam @CSC_SCC_en The current correctional system made worst policy decisions under the Harper govt and they’ve never recovered. Due to many of those changes, the system has declined progressively in its ability to properly correctional management.

@chuckhead21896 @CSC_SCC_en You don’t even understand the role that the commissioner of CSC does, first of all. Secondly, those of us that work in or have worked in the system prefer somebody with first hand experience in the system, not just some white dude in a suit.

@chuckhead21896 @CSC_SCC_en Actually, if you could stop your racism for a moment and look into his history, the man started his career as a parole officer and worked his way up through the system. He’s more than qualified and a better hire than many of the people this organization puts in management.

@AndrewInAlberta @KristinRaworth Still confused how it would be better? How does being a separate country without shared resources give a better future of the kids of AB? I grew up there and it does not make sense to me how it would be better for anyone. `

I appreciate this post because it is honest and passionate, and its clear your Alberta roots run deep. With respect, what makes you proud to be Canadian? I'm trying. I really am. But the feeling I feel most when I think of being Canadian is shame. I feel hopeless. The prospect of Alberta Independence is the most hopeful I have felt about the future in a long time. Do your siblings with kids feel as prideful in Canada as you do? Sincere question, hoping for a sincere answer. Because anyone I know with kids who looks at the direction out country is going feels hopeless for their kids' future.

I love Alberta. I grew up here. Built my life here. Watched my siblings raise their children here. My family built businesses here. My parents taught at the University of Alberta and helped shape generations of students. My grandfather was awarded the Order of Canada for his contributions to this province and played a role in keeping the Edmonton Oilersfrom leaving Edmonton. I am as Albertan as they come. But I am every bit as proud to be Canadian. So when I see people trying to convince Albertans that our future lies in separation, I reject it completely. Alberta’s strength has never come from walking away. It has come from building, contributing, fighting to be heard, and helping shape this country into something better. I will spend every ounce of energy I have defending federalism, defending Canada, and keeping this beautiful province exactly where it belongs: in Canada.

@KristinRaworth Grew up in AB, now live in BC. Parents still live in AB and now daughter is considering moving to AB for work. This separation idea is completely ridiculous in every way. Someone explain how it’s good for anyone? So I’d need a fucking passport to go to AB to see my family? 🙄
