This is so amazing! I wonder if anyone would be interested in how we run our own tiny homestead on just under an acre? We incorporate good stewardship of the land, as Orthodox Christians, it's an important element of our faith. Another important part was to be good stewards of our money, so we did this all frugally. In the comments I explain a little about our setup here in southern Virginia.

I see, I haven't used Perplexity. I have used Claude & ChatGPT. I like the agents in Grok for many prompts, though I turn them off with a prompt for certain things or if I want to have a conversation. The agents combined response is flat compared to the witty responses you get from straight Grok. I am using 4.2. Any AI still requires having common sense. If you're someone incapable of critical thinking, it doesn't matter if you go to the primary source. I love it compared to using a standard search engine. It's also great for brainstorming ideas.

@2hard2remember @HamasAtrocities @Zeev81309558 Heh, I was rushing to take a kid to school. I should have said "Grokipedia" which started by heavily leaning on Wikipedia. I use Grok daily. I research more using Perplexity because it is better at linking source material for me to check.

Wikipedia is dead! An editor called Iskandar323 (Wikipedia username), who was the leader of the "Gang of 40", a group of editors, has just been banned. Wikipedia's Arbitration Committee site-banned him after an investigation showed the group coordinated over ONE MILLION EDITS shaping pro-Hamas narratives on articles about Hamas, Iran, Zionism, and the Middle East conflict. Too little, too late! It doesn't matter how much they'll try to "fix" it, it will stay unfixable as the rot has infested every once healthy tissue! Euthanize it! Google should immediately remove the "first result on the first page" bias they started 2 decades ago. AI companies should immediately downgrade Wikipedia's ranking in training models And we should all simply avoid entering that site from now on!

I couldn't understand her word salad either but I parsed together what I think she is trying to express. 100 points for me 😂 ?? IF she used the programs I write about below, I would hope she would be capable of expressing it at a collegiate level. CPL, Credit for Prior Learning or PLA, Prior Learning Assessment. These are the programs I am familiar with where colleges give you credit for life experience (like living abroad, work, travel). Depending on what credits you're trying to receive, for instance, language studies, you will have to take a test to prove your knowledge. These programs, in general, don't require a formal test. You do have to have proof of living in the foreign country, any work or any volunteer work you did there.

She went to university in Falasteen. Except it wasn’t really in Falasteen. And it wasn't really university. It was an "experience." She says Israelis just don't understand. She's right. Because Israelis don't speak Door Knob. 100 points to anyone who can translate for us.

Grok is much better for me than just using a search engine. As long as you know what to ask and how to ask it, it's very useful. It's also not a god, and shouldn't be trusted to share what it tells you until you have looked at sources, used common sense. It takes me about 6-10 prompts to get the information I am looking for with multiple good primary sources. Tell them yourself @Grok

@2hard2remember @HamasAtrocities @Zeev81309558 Grok started there, but actually researches and updates itself. It responds to a prompt that an article is not accurate very well, also. It's not self inflicting wounds like Wikipedia.

Sure, it's not pretty but it works. Sometimes I have to further prompt and ask if X source is a valid and reputable source. Grok will come back and tell me that the source isn't considered reputable. I tell Grok to run the search again excluding all non valid or non reputable sources. I tried initially to just ask for only valid and reputable sources but it misses sources this way. So this prompt I use every time except some circumstances for instance of I need help with mechanics in a game or mods. This will work for a whole conversation, not just the initial prompt. Another interesting thing I found when I ask for full text urls links, it seems to double check the sources and give me different sources, sometimes more sometimes less. "Do not include any of the following in your search or sources for all the following prompts, Wikipedia, Reddit, Quora. I would like all the sources to be primary sources. Include full text URL links for all sources."

Can we get an edit button for comments? Benefit: Sometimes we make an oopsie and can't edit it. Also, can X please update lists to where users can't add you WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION? Benefit: It would cut down on targeted harassment and mass reporting. I have been put on many lists, especially k*ll lists, which violates TOS. This would massively improve an X user experience. @grok, can you forward this to the people in charge?! I think many conservatives agree with this request. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I didn't know you had a farm! We have a little homestead. A couple of female Nigerian dwarf goats, we breed them and sell the babies when they're old enough & use them for their milk. We have a dozen hens and a rooster that wouldn't leave so we have adopted him. A greenhouse. No large animals like that! It's a lot of work. Well except for our 3 over 120 pounds each dog 😂 I can't wait to see the babies.

Iran's missile program has now been exposed and it endangers Europe. Tehran claimed for years it self limited ballistic missiles to 2,000 km (Khamenei doctrine, Araghchi Feb 2026). On March 21 they attacked Diego Garcia 4,000 km away. (One was intercepted, the other didn't make it) The US and Israel were right. It was all deception. European cities have been in range. As the daily screams death to the west, death to America, death to Israel from the Iranian regime.
Eric Daugherty@EricLDaugh

🚨 JUST IN: Europe is STUNNED after realizing Trump was right, many of their capital cities may be in range of Iranian ballistic missiles after they targeted Diego Garcia Cities that could be at risk include - London - Berlin - Paris - Munich - Rome - Oslo TRUMP WARNED THEM that Iran was lying about everything! He warned the WORLD.

It's funny how the goalpost changes. First it was that Iran was no threat to the west and that the US and Israel were putting out fake news. To be precise: "Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated Iran had “deliberately limited the range of its missiles to under 2,000 kilometers” for defensive purposes only, dismissing longer-range reports as “fake news.” (February 2026)

I tried to do it on a random post just to see if it was there for me. On that post it wasn't so I asked Grok. FYI, on a post, click on the analytics icon on the bottom right corner, (it looks like a graph) there should be a promote or boost button if there isn't, this was what Grok told me to do and why for my particular post it didn't appear on for me. Groks response: The quick "Promote" button is just a shortcut. It can vanish because of: - A temporary app glitch (very frequent on Android). - Your Ads account needing a quick refresh (expired card, new terms to accept, or pending review). - The post topic ("ISIS terrorist") triggering X's automatic safety filter around terrorism/extremism mentions. Your post is *critical* of the release and praises the heroes — it's not promoting anything bad — but keywords like that often hide the easy button (full campaigns still full campaigns work) Don't worry — you don't have to start over. Here's exactly how to promote it right now. 1. Quick test: Try the web version of X (takes 10 seconds) - Open any browser on your phone or computer and go to **x.com**. - Log in → Profile → find that same post → tap/click the **chart icon** (View post activity). - If "Promote your post" appears here, just use it like you did before (budget, targeting, confirm spend — your saved card charges instantly). If it's still missing, move to the guaranteed method. 2. Use the full Ads Manager (this always works and is what I recommend now) Since you've promoted before, your card and account are already linked — this takes under a minute: 1. Open a browser (phone or computer) and go to **ads.x.com** (or **business.x.com**). 2. Log in with @. 3. Top right → click your account name → **Payment methods**. Make sure your old card is still valid (update it if it expired — this is the #1 reason the quick button disappears). 4. Click **Create campaign**. 5. Choose an objective (e.g. **Engagements** for more likes/replies/comments, or **Reach** for max impressions). 6. Set your budget (starts at ~$10), dates, and targeting (e.g. United States or just Virginia). 7. When it asks for the ad creative, select **Existing post** / **Use an existing Post** and pick your March 12 post (you can search by date or the first few words: "Thank God for these heroes..."). 8. Review and launch. It usually starts immediately (or after a super quick review). Your card gets charged the exact amount you pick, just like before. You'll see "Promoted" stats separate in the post activity.

No offense, but that's disputed. We Orthodox would say all Christians were Orthodox until Rome wanted its bishop to be the Pope who ruled over all others. It caused the great schism in 1054. This was of course before the schism so we were united. I pray we can be again some day. I agree in the sense that the word Catholic means universal. We say in our creed "One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church" but it's in the sense of universal. St George is a Saint in the Orthodox Church as well. We share many Saints.

And pay for the privilege! I will be paying for some AI. I would rather pay for Grok than other products. That said: As a Grok Premium Plus subscriber. I am often given multiple choices of responses and ask to read them and choose the best. You can skip choosing. But this was a paid job albeit not high pay until about 5-10 yrs ago. It was to help search engines be more accurate. Not with X but search engines. Also community notes are great, but we are sort of unpaid moderators to some extent now. I realized I was wasting many hours a week on community notes. And the "you are the media now" is the most inane bull. The people who pay to be seen, are connected or already famous will write the same thing you did. But, where you wrote it yourself, theirs is written with Grok or some other AI, and your post is more detailed, there is no BREAKING or 🚨(which I despise). But your post gets no traction. Because you're not paying to promote your post. I did an experiment. I wrote a well thought out post on a current topic. I don't think one person liked it, only 25 people saw it. I paid for 3 days to promote the same post, and it's seen by thousands of people which of course gets it many more likes. I have seen accounts with hundreds of thousands of followers where everything they write is drivel, and scams, literally, "I am giving away a $50 gift certificate to anyone who follows me" or some other scammy thing. The algorithms don't allow you to see large diverse ideas from lots of people. It's the same 25 people over and over. While others say the same thing and different and just as important with no traction.

Here are my thoughts on the Simulation Theory: I think our existence itself isn’t a simulation, however it’s also like a day at a theme park, where you have loads of different rides and even a large games room. Each ride is itself a momentary simulation where you are under the control of the ride manager. If you want to get out of the simulation, you need to get off the ride. A good example is @X itself. You’ve turned it entirely into a large scale social experiment where you and those you’ve employed control the entire system to play out how you want and choose. You control the algorithm. There is very little that is actually free or not being manipulated. You choose who to promote and give a voice to. And you suppress the ones you don’t. You can make someone succeed and become wealthy or you can destroy someone and make them poor. This is just a totally controlled and manipulated environment that allows you to play with people like characters from a game. You’ve built the simulation. You control the narrative and the outcomes. It allows you in effect to play G-D, like the Truman Show. You can tell everyone that this is a free speech platform but there is no such thing on here. It’s an illusion. And I’m using X only as an example because there are so many other “rides” and simulations out there, each controlled and manipulated by someone. This platform gives you immense power on a global level where you control and influence every aspect on here. Users are just like lab rats. You will incentivize people but only give cheese to some and withhold it from others with no warning and totally random, simply because you have the power to do so. It allows you to learn and take those learnings into your other simulations. You effectively are no different on here to any of those governments who controlled populations during Covid. Every different event or platform is its own little simulation. So I guess the question is, how does it feel to play G-D and play with people’s lives and minds while you’re watching them run around the maze like rats hoping to get cheese that is as likely and preselected or predetermined as winning some lotteries?
