@London_W4 You'd love rural Canada. I took this one at a campground with my phone lying flat on a picnic bench. Phones always seem to exaggerate, but once your eyes adjust, it's not by much.
Light pollution is a scourge.
The sky at night. Taken on my iPhone, hand held. Look at all of those stars. In London, you can see almost no stars because of the light pollution, but here in the middle of nowhere in Hampshire, there are millions. I may have to stand here all night, just looking at them.
@ThatEricAlper Often times I'll turn on one of the movie channels that plays the greats from the 80's as background noise.
Nostalgic and improves my mood.
I can’t stop thinking about
a small, from-scratch farm stand at the end of my driveway…
warm sourdough, jars of jam, simple baked goods, whatever is in season…
honor system, made with care, adding as I go.
imagining what it could become. 🤍
@ThatEricAlper And have the booth seats electronically adjustable like modern car seats to get closer or farther away from the table as needed. There would be a max distance of course but....
🤯
@HemingwayS37584@kmandei3 My father bought a Gremlin for some reason back in the day. It spent more time on our driveway with the hood up than on the road. 😆
@N3VAEHI@thelilnan@bobbucattu I lost my cat Willy over the Easter long weekend and I too see little shadows going up and down the stairs as well as hearing sounds he would make in the early morning hours.
@thelilnan@bobbucattu Milka. Had her for almost 19 years. Since I was 8. I have barely any memories of me BEFORE I had her.... And now it'll be 2 years in May from the time I had to say goodbye to her...
I still hear her in my house, and I see her out of the corner of my eye... I miss her so much
