@iamyourfarmer I'd say...we had very different experiences plowing growing up... Lots of terraces... odd shapes .. curves... Actually quite a skill in my neck of the woods

Of all things the that you can just put any seat sitter in on the farm, moldboard plowing is it. I was 13 laying crosswise on the seat with the front wheel in the dead furrow letting the tractor drive it self. All you have to do is lift and turn.

@blakealbers We went with Qauds and go carts. My advice... size quad to the kid. Don't put them on a machine to big for them.

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. I had four wheelers all my life, enjoyed them…had a few of them end up on top of me. What’s everyone else doing ? It’s one of the great joys of being a kid but there is no doubt risk.

I need a case sprayer tech. Does anyone in central Kansas work on case sprayers other than Kan Equip?

Just an uninformed farmer, but this is going to turn into an ai drone war right? Autonomous war machines will be released before the conflict is over. I’m sure it will all turn out just fine.

@tmonteIH spent a good part of my youth behind the wheel of. 900 Series II. I grew up with a pair of them. The sound of that 903 is such a unique sound ya never forget it.

See if this 74 Versatile 900 will help me get spring tillage done a little faster this year.

Please think of the poor farmers as you fill up at the gas pump. Every extra gallon of ethanol you burn helps a farmer purchase a much needed Cobalt speedboat

@TandTAg I didn't get that far. I had done 2 years diesel Tech then went to K-State. made it 2 weeks in and was like wtf they 20 years behind what we doing. Then I shifted to a strong focus on "networking " the remainder of the semester. Joined water ski team and Majored in Aggeville.

When did the train of thought come about that K is mobile in the soil profile? I’m not old but it’s been more than a decade since I graduated K-State, we were always taught that K was immobile in the profile and moved centimeters per year
