i see this in saudi where an older man will have a hobby like gardening & instead of gardening himself. he'll get a poor expat to do most of the grunt for him & to maintain the garden. to me it feels like it defeats the point of the hobby. where's the enjoyment if you sit around

@4_lein it's weird that i often see saudis go out of their way to take the effort, sweat & problem solving out of their personal hobbies & instead pay to have someone do 90% of the work for them robbing them of the satisfaction of the accomplishment & the process.
