1/2 Yesterday 621VGS and 637VGS staff attended the Service of Remembrance at St. Peters Church in Little Rissington. They also paid respects to a former Air Cadet, G.E.K Stone, whose Commonwealth War Grave Commission headstone features the Air Training Corps crest. @ComdtAC @CWGC

Good news: we have aligned the post-CV19-lockdown recovery flying for the VGS with Step 2 of the Govt Roadmap (currently 12 Apr); this will see a gradual reintroduction of VGS gliding and AGS activities. @aircadets should begin safely launching skywards in Step 3 (after 17 May).

Number of years since each station last recorded wind gusts of equal strength or stronger than #StormDennis. Most notable feature was the bow echo over S Britain - produced strongest gust at Pembrey Sands for 4 years, Mumbles Head for 6 years and Little Rissington for 13 years!🌬️
