@geminiscrt To be honest when I started drawing again I was struggling hard cause of the lack of patience. It was very frustrating. Hovewer (after so many days of drawing) I can say that my patience improved A LOT!
English

@havenistired I was also getting back to drawing after a looooong break, (back then I was not on the same level as now though).
Anyway I was very very rusty, it’s never too late!❤️

This motivates me to start drawing again. I used to be so advanced but after not drawing for years I fear my skills aren’t the same.
But this post reminds me that’s it’s never to late to (re)start

609 days of drawing, 609 days of hard work. I’d like to thank everyone who has been here with me during that time. All the nice comments and DMs have given me much needed motivation to make it to the end ❤️ 14.04.24 vs. 14.12.2025

@Niallercharmy of the reference picture when drawing, cause it allows me to see more details.
English

@Niallercharmy Thank you! I’m sorry I don’t really have any good advice here🥲 I just kept on drawing consistently. I’m not sure if it will help but from the beginning, when selecting pictures to draw, I was selecting pictures with visible contrast, where after turning it to b&w I’d see clear+
English

@Niallercharmy +black and clear white areas. Sometimes I’d also up the contrast to achieve the desirable result. In general, for the reference pictures, I was using pictures that were black and white, exclusively. It helps me a lot. Only recently I started also looking at the colored version+
