@7t2py @FanJNB @rainstormblue I’m just stating it’s extra steps, the height of the wall isn’t unknown its literally dog + 200 cms, the variable of the wall doesn’t have to be a separate entity just saying its x + 200 does the job. It’s a simple question, im not acting like a smart ass, just keeping it simple

@_1903Alan @FanJNB @rainstormblue It’s not extra steps it’s the proper way to do it, you should always label unkown values with a variable. That’s the proper way to do it, just because in this case it’s obvious what the value is doesn’t mean you skip that step and act like it was unnecessary

@rainstormblue Is it not just a simple system of equations? x + 200 = y and x+y = 300. Sub first equation into second, x + x + 200 = 300, 2x = 100, x = 50 (dog height), y = 200+50 =250 (wood height). Am I missing something
