People always talk about Joker when mentioning this sequence but I’m surprised no one ever mentions Harley and the implications behind her involvement in this. Despite all the rehab and help from Batman, she ultimately never truly reforms and goes on to do this to a child

Transformers went from dead to multi-billion dollar franchise to dead again for two reasons: 1. Hasbro's bizarre discomfort with Michael Bay's films being what relaunched the franchise from the grave. 2. People like this guy demanding it undermine itself for a female audience that just isn't there.
