Long read, but It’s been rough! Don’t ignore mental health. Talk about it. I’ve been fighting myself a lot lately. My mood’s been all over the place getting overstimulated, frustrated over small things, and sometimes not even being able to handle being around my wife or kids. I’ve mentioned it to a few of my gaming friends, but it’s still been heavy on me. It’s been bothering me a lot because I feel like I can’t control it. I’ve even had some really dark thoughts lately, and that scares me. I hate feeling like I’m failing at spending time with the people I love most. I have talked to my wife about it, and she wants to help me through this. I love my wife and kids more than anything, and I would do absolutely anything for them. I started researching what might be going on, and I came across a creator talking about ADHD. Hearing him explain things felt like he was describing my life these past few years. ADHD isn’t just being hyper there’s so much more to it than people realize. I don’t usually open up like this. I normally keep things to myself, even from my wife. But I’m learning that staying silent doesn’t help. If you’re going through something similar, please know you’re not alone. There are people who care about you, and there is help out there. You can get through it sometimes you just need support and to learn how to manage what you’re dealing with.
