@OneFootball It’s a strong position for English clubs, but ‘likely’ is doing a lot of work here, knockout football swings fast, and one bad night can flip all of these ties.

England is the ONLY country that is able to complete an historic European quadruple 🏆🏆😮‍💨🏆🏆 All three of four of competitions are currently looking likely to feature an English team 😳 ✅ One of Nottingham Forest or Aston Villa will be in the final 🔜 Arsenal Women hold a lead over Lyon going into the 2nd leg 🦅 Crystal Palace hold a strong lead over Shakhtar Whilst Arsenal's mens team are level with Atletico Madrid, but hold the home advantage in their deciding match 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

There’s a growing argument that Villa would actually benefit more from a Spurs win on Sunday, not just for Spurs’ position, but because it drags Forest closer to the drop and adds serious pressure with Europe midweek. Survival over Europe changes everything.

@Molly_AFC Rivalries aside, most of it is just anti-Arsenal bias talking. United fans don’t want City to win it, they just don’t want Arsenal getting over the line, and that says more about the current title race than ‘standards falling’.

It’s shameless how Manchester United fans want City to win the league and not Arsenal. Their standards have fallen so low that they now support their rivals 😭

@afcstuff Commissioning outside help on injury issues is normal in elite setups, but the optics of bringing in someone already linked to the manager will naturally raise questions if problems persist.

🚨 Arsenal have commissioned a physiotherapist from outside their medical staff to review their run of injury problems. There is tension at the club caused by the number of times the team has been without key players over the course of the season. Spanish physio Joaquin Acedo has been brought in to lead the investigation. It is understood that Acedo is a friend of Mikel Arteta & has been a regular presence around the squad in recent months. Telegraph Sport understands Acedo was also at the club the previous season on Arteta’s recommendation. 🕵️‍♂️🩺 [@SamWallaceTel]

@WhoScored 150 goals isn’t even the real story, it’s that City turned every season into 90+ point title races while United were in constant rebuild mode. That’s where the gap actually shows.

Crystal Palace are going to the UEFA Conference League final. Nottingham Forest/Aston Villa are going to the Europa League final. Arsenal are going to the UEFA Champions League final. English teams are dominating European competitions. But guess which club Premier League fans don’t want to see win?

@UtdMaI United missing Rice, Caicedo and Neves is criminal. Mateus Fernandes looks promising but calling him the saviour is a stretch. They need a proper rebuild, not another ‘versatile’ gamble.

Manchester United really watched Declan Rice, Moisés Caicedo and João Neves slip through their fingers… and now we’re debating stop-gap signings? If you’re serious about fixing that midfield, stop gambling on profiles like Aurélien Tchouaméni or Elliot Anderson. Go and get Mateus Fernandes. This guy has played everywhere… wings, midfield, even defensive roles and still looks elite. A 10 at Southampton, DM at West Ham with the versatility United are crying out for. But knowing this club, they’ll ignore him… and overpay for hype again.

Gabriel should have been sent off for violent conduct during Arsenal’s loss to Manchester City in April, the Premier League’s key match incidents panel has found. In the 82nd minute, with the league leaders chasing the game, the defender was pushed by Erling Haaland and the pair had a head-to-head altercation. As they parted, Gabriel appeared to push the striker with his head. Referee Anthony Taylor gave each player a yellow card following the incident, and video assistant referee (VAR) John Brooks did not intervene. The Premier League’s KMI panel is an independent body introduced in the 2022-23 season that reviews critical match incidents in the referee’s jurisdiction. The panel ruled by a majority of 3:2 that Gabriel’s actions warranted a red card for violent conduct, due to his extra head movement, according to sources with knowledge of the outcome. 🔗 nyti.ms/4cXgBPn

🚨 | INEOS believe #mufc are ON TRACK to win the #PL title in 2027/28, and some think that a crack at the title NEXT year is not beyond the team. This is dependent on good recruitment and Bruno Fernandes remaining. [@hirstclass]
