Dear Vendis & Equip: Since acquiring multiple disc companies (HOD), how many: 1) public courses and tournaments have you funded? 2) workers have you fired? 3) benefits/salaries have you reduced? 4) debts have you piled onto House of Disc? 5) days until you sell?

Imagine if capitalism was the only social system that affected the growth of disc golf. Your favorite pastime would not exist. Paul would be coaching D2 baseball. Ricky would be selling dietary supplements at a mini mall. None of us would know the experience of our first ace.

@BryanG33 I saw that determination to "light our money on fire" first hand in PDGA committee work, and I was deeply saddened by it. So much effort, so much energy to exclude others.

@ADiscGolfBlog I don't think they had any understanding of the legal issues involved. They really wanted to light our money on fire faster than we can imagine to ban 1 person from playing frisbee. It makes me sick every time I think of it

The greatest injustice of the PDGA/DGPT’s 2023 Ryan takedown was not the flawed, unethical survey that ignited the hate. It was that PDGA/DGPT blamed the women for it. If you ever feel like blaming women for white dudes’ bullshit takes on gender issues, just don’t. Just shut up.

When Republican disc golfers help build public disc golf courses or support their adult children financially, they embrace socialism. They choose socialism for the things they love and foist the logic of capitalism on everyone else.

I’m a lib and I love winning. I love our country. I love Paul McBeth who crushed mids for a decade. The difference between libs and cons is that libs favor leveling the playing field so that winning actually means something. That’s why we should vote Democrat.
