💪 Exciting day at our Technogym session at Pittodrie! We had the pleasure of being joined by two pupils form St Machar to help lead the Technogym session this morning. Technogym is a project created for 'active-agers' who can use gym equipment in a controlled environment lead by our fantastic coaches and volunteers. It is great to work together and connect participants from across the AFCCT community ❤

🔴 STAND FREE & SLEEPOUT! A night under the stars at Pittodrie Stadium… and if we’re lucky, the Heavenly Dancers too. On Thursday 16th April, our CEO Peter Davidson, Operations Manager Mark Anderson and Football Team Lead Stephen Boddie are taking part in CEO Sleepout UK at Pittodrie. They’ll be raising funds for AFCCT and CEO Sleepout, helping raise awareness of homelessness and the reality many people face across our city. We’re proud to be part of this alongside Aberdeen Cyrenians and Aberdeen Foyer - all beneficiaries of the event. You don’t need to be a CEO to take part. Sign up. Take part. Be there on the night. AFCCT 🤝 Kinship Care Aberdeen It is Kinship Care Week 2026 and the theme this year is Connected by Kinship, spotlighting the strong and nurturing relationships that help kinship families flourish. The Dons Kinship Coffee Morning runs monthly and is free to attend for all formal and informal Kinship Carers - the session offers support and advice from guest speakers alongside a space to relax and have a cuppa. We are proud to work in partnership with great organisations like Kinship Care Aberdeen to ensure our communities are supported 👏

The hugely successful programme has seen an increase in attendance and a reduction in referrals and exclusions within participants of the programme. 🚲 Coast2Coast 2026! We are humbled and very honoured to be chosen by colleagues at @bp_plc to participate in Coast2Coast in memory of Fraser Buchan, who was a valued colleague of many at bp, and a passionate supporter of the work of AFCCT. More than 50 riders and support crew will take on the cycling challenge in June, covering around 240 miles across Scotland to raise funds for four community charities.
