Questions for the Defenders of Diplomacy with the Islamic Republic (4/5)🤮🤮🤮 If the same logic, the same brutality, and the same machinery of repression operate under the cover of an established government with a flag and official representation, does its nature change? The Islamic Republic is presented, because of the name Iran and Iran’s history, as the representative of an ancient nation, while in practice it has destroyed that nation’s resources and taken that nation’s people hostage. The main difference from ISIS is not behavior; it is that this structure succeeded in 1979 in occupying an entire country. 6. Peaceful Neighborliness or Exporting Crisis? Attacks and threats against neighbors, interference in Arab states, pressure on Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, threats toward Turkey, and constant destabilization of the region: is this the conduct of a normal state?

Questions for the Defenders of Diplomacy with the Islamic Republic (3/5)🤮🤮🤮 If removing the main source could weaken the roots of many of these disasters, why is even saying so treated as taboo? If the killing of Iranians was not enough to trigger action, what is your real standard for human rights? 4. Diplomacy or Repetition of Failure? Forty-seven years of negotiations, opportunities, concessions, strategic patience, and hope for behavioral change. What was the result? More missiles, more regional influence, more repression, more hostage-taking, more crisis. Which solution has not yet been tried that you still prescribe the same formula? 5. Official State or ISIS with an International Seat? The world has seen ISIS: ideological violence, slaughter, elimination of opponents, weaponized religion, rule through fear.

Questions for the Defenders of Diplomacy with the Islamic Republic (2/5) 🤮🤮🤮 When deterrent action is discussed, the same voices suddenly speak of world peace. Does peace mean stopping the source of the threat, or restraining those confronting it? 3. Human Rights or Cost-Free Statements? When the people of Iran were killed in protests, when arrests, torture, executions, shootings of civilians, and organized repression took place, what was the response of many self-declared defenders of human rights? Expressions of concern, statements, then silence. Meanwhile, in many Western media outlets and political circles, defense of, justification for, or sensitivity toward Hezbollah, Hamas, and affiliated forces remains louder than attention to the slaughter of Iranians and the root source of these networks. How is it that regional instruments of crisis receive platforms and endless explanation, while their Iranian victims receive silence and marginalization?
