My Grandson says I should explain a little about myself and my substack. I'm a retired radar operator, amongst other things, and in later life worked in Aerospace as an advisor on threat assessment. I saw a lot, and there's a lot I can't talk about, not directly.

Unfortunately, our hotel in Kyiv has been evacuated after a missile strike last night hit a warehouse on the estate. I'm fine and thankfully so is everyone else in our group, but I won't be heading back to get my stuff, including my laptop until tomorrow. Staying in Irpin until
