Just trying to be better one day at a time.

The biggest epidemic on social media and in public right now isn’t a lack of discipline—it’s a severe lack of self-awareness. I will never understand the mindset of people who are so quick to judge, blame, and police everyone else before taking a single look in the mirror. Before you get worked up about what someone else is doing, how they look, or how they’re living their life: how about working on yourself first? Let’s be entirely clear about something: You are not above anyone else. Your personal feelings are not laws. Your entitlement doesn't give you the right to enforce imaginary rules on strangers. If you want to see change, be a role model. Lead by example. Instead, we’re watching grown adults act like enraged toddlers throwing public temper tantrums—all while aggressively insisting, "I'm not trying to get attention!" Your behavior is screaming otherwise. If you spend your entire day looking for a reason to be offended or a manager to complain to, the problem isn't the world around you. The problem is looking right back at you in the glass. Fix your own house before you try to tear down someone else's. Drop the main character syndrome. Humility is free.
