The farmers, the teachers, the nurses and community healthcare workers, and all women who drive our progress. Today, we don't just celebrate how far we have come to empowering women; we recommit ourselves to ensuring every girl in Malawi has the opportunity to achieve their dreams and lead without barriers. Today, I received Letters of Credence from His Excellency Mr. NAITO Yasushi, Ambassador of Japan to Malawi. The moment reaffirmed the strong friendship and cooperation between Malawi and Japan, which has grown over the years. I congratulated Ambassador Naito on his appointment and assured him of my Government’s full support. Our discussions focused on strengthening bilateral ties, promoting trade and investment, and advancing cooperation in disaster management, resilient infrastructure, agriculture, education, and health. I wish Ambassador Naito every success in his mission and look forward to further deepening Malawi–Japan relations for the prosperity of our peoples. May God bless our nation.
