Because of how Kickstarter works, this was an all-or-nothing campaign. Since we didn’t reach the funding goal, no one who pledged will be charged. But here’s what I’ve been thinking about. 1,717 people said yes to this story. That’s not nothing. That’s 1,717 people who looked at Witch BIBI — a painter who lost his way, a witch looking for a broom — and thought: I want to see where this goes. I still do too. I’m not ready to let this story disappear quietly — and I want to be honest with you about what comes next. Making Witch BIBI requires funding, and I’m not ready to give up on that.
