Permitting delays are holding back energy and infrastructure projects across the country. As the SPEED Act moves to the House floor, Congress should pass this bill to streamline reviews, reduce uncertainty, and help deliver the projects America needs.

Manufacturers can’t meet demand, onshore supply chains, or power new AI and data-center growth without a permitting system that works. Arizona’s economy depends on getting major projects built on predictable timelines. We agree with @ShopFloorNAM: Congress should advance the PERMIT Act and the SPEED Act to modernize federal permitting and finally move critical projects at the pace our economy requires.
