Understanding macroeconomics isn't just for experts—it's key to navigating everyday life and taking control of your financial future. A must read 👇👌
EndGame Macro@onechancefreedm

Here’s how I think macroeconomics should be viewed especially by everyday people who are told it’s too complex, too abstract, or not worth their time. That’s a lie. Macroeconomics isn’t just about bond yields, central bank policy, or GDP, it’s the hidden architecture shaping nearly every part of your daily life. It decides whether your rent goes up, whether your paycheck stretches far enough, why groceries suddenly cost more, or why your savings lose value even when sitting still. It’s the system running quietly beneath everything you do. So why wouldn’t you want to understand it? For me, the interest with macro doesn’t come from some desire to beat the market or get rich quick. It comes from a deeper instinct: you are not going to destroy me. That’s the voice in my head every time I see another predatory policy sold to the public as a lifeline. Every time they inject liquidity for themselves and hand the public inflation. Every time they disguise control as assistance. Once you see the game, you can’t unsee it and that’s when you stop playing defense. That’s why I interrogate every assumption. If I get something wrong and someone corrects it, good. That’s a rep. That’s how you get stronger. If I miss a subtle point and someone brings it to light, even better. It means the armor just got thicker. This isn’t about always being right, it’s about building resilience. Precision over pride. The truth is, when you really break down how your life is structured, how much time is spent making money, managing money, or dealing with the consequences of not having enough, it’s staggering. Decades of your life orbit around this system. So why would you not make it a priority to understand it? The more you learn, the less power the system has over you. You start to anticipate instead of react. You start to position instead of panic. And here’s what most people don’t realize: when you move with purpose even small, consistent purpose you change your internal landscape. Go to the gym. Read the book. Learn one thing a day about how the system works. Stack small wins. That momentum builds mental clarity. You stop feeling like a victim of circumstances and start thinking like someone with agency. The world won’t get less chaotic but you’ll get more equipped. So no, macroeconomics isn’t just for hedge funds and PhDs. It’s for the electrician trying to save for his daughter’s college. It’s for the single mom wondering why her rent keeps rising. It’s for the young guy working two jobs, trying to figure out how to escape the cycle. Because once you understand how the system really works, you don’t just play the game better you start changing your role in it.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent
While the surviving IRGC Leaders are trapped like drowning rats in a sewage pipe, Iran’s creaking oil industry is starting to shut in production thanks to the U.S. BLOCKADE. Pumping will soon collapse. GASOLINE SHORTAGES IN IRAN NEXT!
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent@SecScottBessent

Doing business with sanctioned Iranian airlines risks exposure to U.S. sanctions. Foreign governments should take all actions necessary to ensure that companies in their jurisdictions do not provide services to those aircraft, including the provision of jet fuel, catering, landing fees or maintenance. Under Economic Fury, the @USTreasury will impose maximum pressure on Iran and will not hesitate to act against any third parties that facilitate or conduct business with Iranian entities. wsj.com/livecoverage/i…

Macro Liquidity by Sunil Reddy
Keep a close eye on yields here. US 2Y yields look like they are quietly building a short-term base after the recent spike and consolidation. On the other side, oil is still holding very strongly despite risk assets staying bid. That combination should not be ignored. Once yields start moving higher from this base, risk assets can get blindsided very quickly because it signals renewed Treasury selling and tighter liquidity conditions. Higher oil pressures inflation expectations. Higher yields pressure valuations and funding conditions. Together, they create the exact setup where markets suddenly realize the “risk-on” move was built on very fragile liquidity. For now, equities are acting comfortable. But as oil holds firm and yields break higher, that comfort can turn into panic very fast.

Fact-checker @zoo_bear is begging for donations. I will make sure he gets his entire year’s requirements. All he has to do is to fact-check publicly whether what Nupur said is derived from Sunan an-Nasa'i 3378; Vol. 4, B 26, Hadith 3380. Take the challenge, Zubair. "Be a man."

Look at the batshit crazy argument. Because I am a disbeliever and do not see sacredness in something, it means someone who sees sacredness gets special rights. Religious people just come up with "because meri marzi" level arguments and think that deserves respect. These arguments should be rejected with peak disdain.

@kushal_mehra Maybe difficult to understand for someone who holds nothing sacred. For a nihilist, nothing has transcendental meaning does it?

Minister @dpradhanbjp this is outrageous. How can schools, regulated by Ministry of Education @EduMinOfIndia discriminate against Hindus? Please intervene. @KanoongoPriyank @AmitShah Why are Hindus subject to such humiliation in their own country? @narendramodi @sanjeevsanyal Please abolish such rules and warn schools, colleges to end such bad discriminatory practices.
Rashtra Jyoti@RashtraJyoti

Kalawa threads were cut from students’ wrists at a school in Gurugram today We at @RashtraJyoti have formally complained and demanded a written explanation from the school administration What is the rule? Who framed it? On what legal, safety or operational basis were Hindu students asked to remove it? This complaint is only the first step Our campaign will continue until such discriminatory rules are reversed and Hindu students are no longer made to feel ashamed of their identity in Indian institutions

The Janeu is worn under the garments. This is outright religious intimidation. Next Krupanidhi College staff will tell Sikhs to remove kacchas because it’s a religious requirement? Ridiculous & criminal.

#WATCH | Bengaluru | A student who appeared for the CET examination at the center in Krupanidhi College, Madivala, Bengaluru, says, "I went to the center around 9.40 am. I kept the bag in the room and they didn't allow me because they saw my 'Janeu'. They started telling that you have to remove it. If you don't remove, we can't allow you to write the exam...Around seven students were also asked to remove their Janeu. We had no option so we removed it...I felt very sad. I could not write the CET exam properly...This happened yesterday..."

Every year, the same story. The mountains are choking, the rivers are turning into dustbins, the temples are becoming stampede zones, and the government is still pretending this is “tourism growth.” Just look at Kedarnath. The shrine reopened and within days the visuals were already chaotic: overcrowding, barricades being jumped, common devotees crushed in the rush. This is not devotion being managed well. This is fragile mountain geography being pushed past its limit. Then look at what is happening across the Himalayas. At Gangotri, waste and ritual material are being dumped into the Bhagirathi. In Himachal, viral videos have shown tourists drinking and throwing garbage into the stream at Lapas waterfall. Another video showed plastic waste littering a water body on the Manimahesh Yatra route at around 13,000 feet. We go to the mountains for peace, and then carry our filth, noise, plastic, traffic, and zero civic sense with us. And let us stop blaming only “some bad tourists.” This is also a governance failure. Himachal’s own chief minister has admitted that over-tourism is straining roads in the state. The NGT has already had to scientifically fix carrying-capacity limits for places like the Kufri-Mahasu trail. So the problem is no longer hidden. Everybody knows it. The state knows it. The courts know it. The public knows it. But action still comes too little, too late. There has to be a hard cap in peak season on how many people and how many vehicles can enter ecologically fragile hill zones in Uttarakhand, Himachal, and elsewhere. Tourism matters, yes. Local livelihoods matter, yes. But dead mountains will not sustain any economy. If we keep treating the Himalayas like an unlimited weekend parking lot and garbage yard, then one day we will wake up and realize we did not visit the mountains. We finished them.
