In our first session today, Prof. Robert Richardson and Dr. Briony Thomas explained the aims of the UK RAS STEPS programme and how it will support and empower #RAS research #technicians in robotics and #autonomous systems to help the UK lead the way in #robotics innovation.

Ten years ago this week, our colleague Dr Dave Barnes passed away. Dave’s research was in robotics - particularly in space robotics. His research involved colleagues in Computer Science and @AberPhys. This photo was from an event where he discussed work on the ExoMars mission.
