Every serious project has this condition. Go and find the T&C of your most Alpha project(s). You will see this condition sitting quietly, which most people never read. It is generally a legal safety for enterprise level projects (web2 and web3 alike). Even mushrooms projects have also started using it. If you read the T&C of any project and really understand it, you wouldn't engage any project at all, except meme coins.
