Lili Damita in "Red Heels" (1925), an Austrian silent film directed by her lover Michael Curtiz. Both found fame in coming to the US - she became a film star & married Errol Flynn. Curtiz became one of Hollywood's most famous directors - giving us the iconic "Casablanca" (1942)
