Ka ozi ndi NEPA😭 If you're doing business in Nigeria, especially a business that needs light to function, you will understand the pain. Either you buy diesel, buy fuel, or buy ice block. Yesterday, one of my brothers called my mom complaining because his work and business depend on constant electricity. He said the kind of light they’re getting now is nothing to write home about. Every single day, the amount he spends on fuel is alarming. After all the expenses, you’ll be wondering if there’s even any profit left. And see, maybe some of these things have not reached your own house yet. Maybe you only see them on social media and scroll past. But until it enters your home… until it affects your child, your family, your peace… that's when you truly understand that people are suffering. Let us stop pretending that we are fine when we are not. Most people who enter government are already thinking of what they can gain for themselves, not how to make life better for the people they are meant to serve. It rarely concerns them how the average citizen feels. That is the painful truth. People are committing suicide every day. Bad news everywhere. Fear everywhere. Survival has become a full-time job. So tell me, are we supposed to be shouting "Happy New Month" when people are barely breathing? If nothing changes, if this administration and the people in power continue like this, many people will keep suffering till the end of the year and beyond. But trust Nigerians, they will complain today then focus on celebrity gist tomorrow. Misplaced priority.
