I love buying old children’s books on eBay to read to my toddler. (You can get lots for ~$1/book.)
Upside: engaging illustrations, clear vocab, simple story concepts, no politics.
Downside: occasionally goes REALLY dark and a page or two needs to be skipped…

BTW, I wrote about this recently in SciAm, noting that one of the key values of natural gas is for heating buildings and that it's likely cheaper, easier and faster to decarbonize the gas system than to decarbonize the power sector + electrify everything
